Facebook app data-deletion instructions

You can ask Anya Buys Houses to review and remove information held by our own Facebook Page comment app. Requests are handled by a person; this page is not an automatic deletion form.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject “Facebook app data deletion request.” Ilya handles requests for Anya Buys Houses.

  1. Include links to the relevant public Facebook posts or comments, if available.
  2. Describe which information you want removed and your connection to it. Keep the description brief; avoid copying unnecessary sensitive details.
  3. Use an email address where we can reply. We may ask for limited additional information to clarify the scope and verify the connection before disclosing or deleting records.

Never send your Facebook or email password, security codes or access tokens. A shared display name or participation in the same conversation does not establish that every comment belongs to the same person.

What happens next

We review the request, identify the relevant app records and known copies, and determine the action that can be taken without removing another person’s information. We will tell you the outcome, including anything that remains unresolved or cannot be removed. We do not offer instant deletion or a guaranteed completion time through this page.

The review may include stored comment text, public-thread copies, processing records, applicable workflow diagnostics, and separate history exports. Some operational information may need separate review to prevent old comments being processed or answered again. We will explain any information retained and the reason rather than silently treating it as deleted.

Important limits

Deleting a copy held by this app does not itself remove the original comment from Facebook, remove other people’s content, or delete information held independently by another service. Use Facebook’s own controls for content on Facebook. Provider records and backups may require separate steps or have limits that we need to confirm.

Our main comment/history/action records currently have no automatic expiry, so requesting deletion is a manual process. We do not claim to have an automatic account-deletion callback or to erase every provider or backup copy immediately.
